when i get home from school, my dog always gets excited and barks high pitch. i first gave hem a treat when ever i get home, it stops. but i think hes thinking that if he barks, he gets a treat. and thinks its a good thing. so i start not giving hem a treat and instead i roll up the newspaper and spanking hem lightly. He gets scared of it…but still wont stop? how can i get my dog to stop barking when i get home?
Someone said that a barking collar might help with my dog, but I’m worried about how much it will hurt. I want her to stop barking so much, but I don’t really want to hurt her.
My dog barks at… nothing really. I understand when the other dogs that live around me are barking and she gets started. But it’s when she barks at nothing that it annoys me.
I have a 9 month old pitbull/lab mix, and he always is pulling on the leash and snaping or barking at people that pass. What can I do to make him not do that and to walk better? I need help, hes getting to strong!

When anybody is upstairs making noise my dog runs downstairs and barks at the ceiling. Anybody know how to stop him, i dont want to use a shock collar cause i just dont like that.
I have a 2 1/2 year old pitt bull-boxer mix. He LOVES to chew on soft dog toys (like stuffed animal kinds of things) but he tears them to pieces in minutes and I don’t want him to get sick from swallowing anything (even though I always supervise him). What kinds of toys would be good? I’ve given him nyla bones, kongs, and tennis balls but he just doesn’t seem to care about them. Thanks.

Where can I find a type of behavior shock collar? I don’t want a anti-bark collar. Is there one that is not very expensive that has a hand held control so I can press it when he is doing the bad behavior?

i live in a neighborhood with alot of houses and there is one house in the middle that has two dogs,and there are some other dog owners 2 houses down from ours. Also another to the end of the street. I have no idea what dog is howling , but it sounds very stressed and if 1 dog barks every dog out there starts barking, they have been barking since 5:00 in the afternoon and now its 10:00!! i have no idea how there owner can withstand that barking. Im getting mad crazy. Im a dog owner but my dog isn’t that exaggerated like these other dogs!? How can i make them stop? THERE MAKING ME CRAZY? Any cheap products (technology) that help?
