My six month old ragdoll kitten Halo has never been outside before. She has also never been on a harness or leash before. This is her first experience with both. This kitten is truly fearless, adapting so well to new situations. I decided to get a harness and leash for her so that I could take her outside. I cannot let her outside unsupervised for a few reasons. She is too friendly and would go home with anyone. Because of her calm personality and non-aggressive nature she would also not be able to defend herself. And finally, I live in the city (downtown) and she could quite easily be run over by a car. The harness and leash is for her safety.
