This dog, Spartan, was impossible for Dee to walk. Even using a spiked collar and leash in conjunction with food treats would not stop this very hard-pulling rambunctious dog. So how did this transformation occur in just the first visit? By first doing a proper analysis and simply changing the rapport between dog and owner. Are there any quick-fixes? A bark collar with a bad lemon smell or a sharp piercing high frequency tone seems a bit cruel, but if it’s effective and quick, I’d consider it.
