I mean, they are GOING to bark, it’s what dogs do, but when my dog sees someone walk by my house, she will bark and bark and bark and bark even if they have already left.

Also, out in the yard, she will hear a bark in the distance and bark, bark, bark, bark, bark.
It’s embarassing! I can’t get her to calm down, i don’t know what to do!
She’s met so many dogs that i am sure it can’t be a socializing problem.

Also, when we are walking around the block and she sees someone at a distance coming toward us, she will bark until she’s sure they’ve passed us.

******HOW DO YOU GET A DOG TO STOP BARKING?

My dog is in here making a ton of noise, growling, barking, yapping, and I was wondering what his deal was until I noticed the sound of other dogs barking in the area, and one really loud Hoooooooooowl (sort of like a wolf sound but we do not have wolves in our area) n Alabama (we do have Coyotes but they yap more than howl). Why would all the dogs be acting this way? I have never noticed anything like this before and there have been no sirens!

Ben, my former college roomie’s, dogs started barking like crazy when I showed up at his house. I crack up every time, especially knowing how high-pitched Bandit’s bark is.

She’s good with our Chow Chow but not other dogs.

My dogs bark at everything, even my mom calling my name, or if someone they know (like my brother) walks in the door. I don’t want to get a collar that sprays them up the nose with orange juice. I’ve been spraying them with a spray bottle (w/water) which has calmed them down a bit. But it isn’t working enough, its giving my mom headach and she gets really ticked off ><; I need help
Anyone??? ….

I have a 1 1/2 yr old chocolate lab. She gets AT LEAST 1 hour of exercise every day and as much attention as I can give when Im home. She never stops barking at me. I will try to play with her more or do anything i can but its like she wants something else. I have tried every method to stop this. I have used zap collars as well as ultra sound collars. I have sprayed her with water, put lemon juice in her mouth, diciplined her…And nothing works! Im on my whits end with her! What else can I do??
I also have a 2 1/2 yr old black lab who doesnt bark at all, and doesnt get any more attention than cocoa, less if anything…..
she gets more than enough exercise, from her hour walk at an off leash dog park to playing in the yard at least 2x a day, and also in the house. This is more exercise than most dogs get

My dogs manage to destroy every toy I’ve ever gotten them. The current favorite is one of my old slippers. They pull the fuzz off tennis balls and always manage to pull the white fuzzy stuff out of stuffed toys. They refuse to play with those kong things. They get new toys pretty regularly. One of them even manages to get little parts chewed off the plastic toys. Any suggestions on really tough toys would be helpful.THANKS!

I’ve tryed everything I have a Pomeranian and she barks at other dogs, people, and everytime the doorbell rings. It’s so embarassing I cant take her anywhere. I’ve tried spraying her with water, telling her no, and even though I didnt want to I’ve looked for a shock collar, but she’s so small that they dont make one that’s safe enough for her, what do I do???
