I am thinking of buying a barking collar for my 7 month old aussie. He’s been barking so much for no reason and i live in a condo so my neighbours would get irritated. Is it safe to use it one him? If yes can u suggest which is the best one to buy and appropriate for his age. Thanks
when i leave she will bark more than an hour maybe even more my neighbours have not complained yet that i know of but it has to be so long before they do.I can hear her from the street and its teribble i do not want to loose her (they already let it slide that she is 30 pounds and we can only have lap dogs in the building but they let he stay) does any one have any bark collar recommendations …i already tried benydryl but it dosen’t even make her a little better!!!!HELP
i tried rescue remedy and i also have another dog i put bones in her crate but she never eats them…i have tries it all except a bark collar

I’m considering getting a sonic anti-bark collar for my dog, but am concerned about the effect it may have on the neighbours dog! While I want to stop mine from constantly barking, the neighbour’s on both sides have dogs that don’t have a problem and I’m concerned that the sonic correction may cause a problem next door while solving mine… Any advice on what effect sonic training could/may have on nearby animals… I have a small dog, and really would rather not have to go to a shock collar… From a GOOD Neighbour!
She has a dog flap that she uses to go in and out. She generally only goes out once at night but alot of the time she barks and we have to call her in. She doesnt bark bark very much apart from that. Were worrying incase its upsetting the neighbours.
We recently moved to a bigger property and one of my dogs has become a nuisance barker. She now has access to the entire front yard and feels the need to bark at anyone who walks past. Now she has also started to bark at what seems like nothing, and last night when walking home I could hear her barking for streets and wonder if she is always barking when I’m not home.
I have tried a citronella collar but she completely ignored it. Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions from personal experience of stopping dogs barking in this manner.
Thanks Sara – I have been thinking of resorting to a shock collar but so many people get upset and say how inhumane they are. I did try the spray collar and she completely ignored it. Another option before the shock collar is the collar which emits a high pitched noise – have you had any experience with this? I am terrified my neighbours will complain and I will have to get rid of her.
I have been told that my 3 year old Springer howls when left in the house. I have another dog too, so he is not totally alone and we always leave the radio on for them. We thought he had stopped but according to the neighbours he hasn’t. Any ideas ?
My dog is 9 months old and recently he has started barking a lot at night.
I’ve just got a new puppy who did sleep inside but now sleeps outside with the older dog.

I’m renting and I’m not allowed pets inside, bringing them inside is not an option. I’m waiting for my ex to clean his stuff out of my garden shed, and they can sleep in there soon.

My dog won’t stop barking at cars, bikes..everything really. It’s becoming a bit of a nuisance for us and our neighbours.

We have just moved into a new house and we live very close to the next door neighbours, seperated only by a chain link fence. My dog keeps barking at them whenever they go to their car, hang out washing etc. They have been too polite to say anything to us, but it can’t be very nice being barked at every time they step foot in their own yard.
She is fully house trained, trained to sit, stay, come and wait, but I don’t know how to train her to stop barking for no reason.
She is a 5 year old Terrier and we have been here three months. She has always barked at strangers walking past the house, but it didn’t matter at our last house because we lived on a property.
