Hi, everyone. My dog continues to bark sporadically throughout the night. I’ve given him water, food, I always leave him to do his business outside before it’s time for him to come inside and go to sleep, but he continues to bark. I’ve even left him some toys to bite on and play with during the night, but he still barks. I want to know what exactly a Citronella collar does to make the dog stop barking. I’m not into striking the dog to make him stop barking so don’t suggest it.

what’s wrong with it? It starts from 2-5 am..and again from 4 in the afternoon til about 6 pm
It’s really annoying…i can’t have a decent sleep. Is it ok to complain?
ordered an electronic barker collar for my dog, because she has been barking a lot at night, and my entire family has been losing sleep over it. we’ve had her for a while now. she is 4 lbs, maybe slightly over, and the collar is for dogs 5 lbs and over. do you think she will be okay from it? just checking cuz i dont wanna hurt my babyy 
he is a 5lb toy poodle. we have tried almost everything including one of those high pitch collars…the collar was too big he felt he was being punished just by wearing it. plus i feel awful putting it on him. but he barks all the time at everything, people that come over, cars outside, the tv, the other dogs. he will bark at me at night if he wants to go to sleep…i have to turn all the lights off or he won’t stop!! help!
My dog is very scared of church bells lol
She only barks at him. He goes to sleep early and she always wants to go into his room which always ends with her barking at him. He does not have a door to his room so I can’t simply close it. She is a puppy and a yorkie doisher mix.
I live with him. (I am 15.) So she should be use to him.
He does ignore her and does not like her.
Our 5 month old Black Lab puppy has a serious barking problem. It’s to the point where he barks all day long and sometimes depending on the activity outside all night long too. He is not mean at all and does not bark aggressively just non stop. My husband has suggested we get him a shock collar that is suggested to be used for 2 weeks to help train the puppy to stop barking. It is not a powerful shock and is described by Drs Foster and Smith as a "static shock". Will this help and have any of you used this type of training collar on a puppy? We need to do something as our neighbors sleep during the day and are starting to get angry.
He is a schnoodle. Can someone help me how to train my dog to stop barking? I have tried the water bottle, bark collar, ignoring him and praise him when he quits. But now, if he sees me graving the bottle he stops and runs away but the moment I turned my back he starts again. The bark collar didn’t do anything for him. With ignoring him, he did the same as with the bottle. I love him very much but I haven’t been able to brake his barking habit and is getting to a point where I think about finding a new home for him. Maybe someone else have better results.
I can’t do obedience training at the moment, my budget is very tight. He is not bored, I have 2 more dogs and they love each other and play a lot. I also take him for walks everyday. The moment he hears something outside he runs to the window and barks non stop. If my neighbors are having a barbecue, he is barking. I don’t even want to take all 3 for walks together because he will get out of control. My other dogs are very well behave. He came from a place where he was going to put to sleep, I felt I could give him a good home but now I can’t control him.

I’ve just got a new puppy who did sleep inside but now sleeps outside with the older dog.
There are heaps of dogs in our neighbourhood that bark all the time, I don’t know how I can get him to stop talking to them!
My neighbours have started complaining so I need to do something fast!

I’m renting and I’m not allowed pets inside, bringing them inside is not an option. I’m waiting for my ex to clean his stuff out of my garden shed, and they can sleep in there soon.
My 7 mo old Lab puppy barks at night if she’s not in the room with me. We left her out of her crate one night and now she’s relentless in her determination. When I put her outside in her pen she barks for hours.
The neighbors and I are sleep deprived.
Also what bran of training devices should i purchase?
