My dog is driving me crazy! He won’t stop barking.. we have one of those citronella collars on him, but it isn’t doing any good. What can I do?
We live a little out in the country and everytime someone pulls up our driveway she barks. She sits on the top of couch near the window sill and we have people constantly up our lane because we live on a farm. How can I make her stop barking at cars coming up the drive?

The minute she sees the lead she goes crazy and won’t stop barking. I have tried everything but she just carries on barking. When we do get out the house, she pulls on the lead and it is hard to control her. Also she barks whenever someone knocks on the door and at passing cars or people out the window. We moved to an area where the neighbors are really close and they are building houses here so my dogs wont stop barking. I read about those non bark collars but seems a little unfair to shock them. I saw something what you gotta put outside and when they bark, they will here a sharp ultrasound. has someone tried that? How to get a dog to stop barking?
This dog is a puppy, so I can’t use stuff like spray collars, and since it is indoors, I can’t use the radio high-pitch thing either. Whenever my puppy goes inside its crate, it starts barking and doesn’t stop barking for HOURS. It is really annoying the neighbors. Any advice? And no rude comments, please.
Also, it mainly barks during the night (11pm~4am), and it has been with us for almost four days. We do not want to hit him or anything.
