I have a dog that is 6 months old and it seems like he is not interested in any of the store dog toys and i was wondering if there is a way to make a dog toy from things around the house that he might like?
My dog is 11 months old a tares up any toy i give her. I have even given her those dogzilla toys and she tares them up fast. I need some toys that she won’t tare up and that won’t cost a fortune.
"tare up" means to rip up, destroy, rip to peices ect. sorry for the confusion
my border collie has super sharp teeth and tears through everything. it takes him no more then 5 minutes to tear a tennis ball apart, and he even ripped through the ultimate dog toy toys, that have the 5 layers of fabric and stitching. the only thing he cant break is our tennis ball that has a hole through the middle. any strong toys that you know of?
thanks:)
it needs to be somewhat cheap:)
My dog goes through toys within minutes so I need to find some ways to make some. they don’t have to be durable if they can be made easily and cheaply.
he has a toy box, but everytime i get ready to go somewhere, i have to remove dog toys from my shoes.
My dogs aren’t toy destroyers. My beagle always tries to take toys outside and once they’ve been in rain I toss them. But some of the indoor only toys get pretty icky. I usually try to replace them every few months. Should I replace them sooner?
I’ve attempted washing the toys but they always get messed up in the washer. I use cold water and gentle detergent and air dry them…
My brother and I just moved into an apartment together and i have 5 yr old yellow lab. we work the same hours most of the time. But she is barking alot when we are gone from home. I have put a bark collar on her and give toys and bones to keep her occupied but it doesn’t work. We got a complaint from a tenant in our building. I don’t know what to do! please help or give ideas
He barks constantly, unless he’s sleeping. Every little noise makes him bark, he barks out of the blue. I won’t even mention what he goes through when the door bell rings or when someone is in the house. I have 3 big dogs (2 labs and a foster boxer) so I can’t really let them "meet&greet" whoever is at the door. They’re big 80-90lbs dogs.
His behavior changed when we boarded him and his "baby brother" for a week. The dogs were so loud and aggressive when they came out of that PetsMart Hotel. We tried obedience training with my chocolate lab and didn’t work; treats & toys doesn’t care for; I spanked his rear – he doesn’t care for that; we got a shock-collar and he destroyed it. Please help! I love my dogs so much and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to solve this issue. Thank you !
He’s 2 1/2 years old, so he’s still young. The dog doesn’t care for bones or anything when there’s an "intruder" in the house. He just wants attention. The way he managed to ruin the shock collar – found it on the counter and chewed it.
My dog is getting bored of her toys, and at the moment I’m unable to buy her toys to entertain her. Anyone know of ways to make toys? I’ve tried hiding treats under a box and stuff to keep her entertained, but that was too easy… so far all my attempts have failed.
Oh, and currently she’s on doctors orders to not run around or play too hard (6month old puppy, mind you) so it needs to be something she can do without breaking doc’s orders. Anything will be helpful!
Please and thank you! <3
I have a 5 month old puppy who seems to like to bark a bit too much. She barks to demand things… like her toys or food we are eating. She barks at people walking up to our building as she sees them through the window. What can I do to get her to lay off a bit?
